Catering & Dining – Key Info

Catering Services at Bukalasa Agricultural College

BAC’s Catering Unit provides nutritious, affordable meals to support healthy learning and campus life. Dining facilities are within easy reach of lecture rooms and halls of residence, and are open to both students and staff. Menus are planned to balance energy needs for practical fieldwork and class schedules.

What We Offer

  • Daily Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner service.
  • Vegetarian and simple allergy-aware options (notify the Catering Unit/Dean of Students).
  • Strict food safety & hygiene practices; clean serving areas and utensils.
  • Convenient access from classrooms, workshops, and hostels.

Access & Payment

  • Present your Student ID at the serving point.
  • Meals are paid via the college’s approved channels; current rates appear in the Fees & Payment Structure.
  • Where applicable, meal coupons/tokens can be purchased from Accounts or as advised by the Catering Unit.

Dining Guidelines

  • Observe serving times to ease queues and ensure hot service.
  • Maintain cleanliness; return trays/utensils to the designated points.
  • No cooking in hostels; use approved dining areas and canteens only.
  • Share feedback or special dietary needs with the Dean of Students or the Catering Unit.
